WiFi CSI as an Ambient Health Sensor

The idea

Every room already has a radio field. WiFi Channel State Information (CSI) captures how that field is perturbed by bodies and motion, which means the infrastructure for ambient activity sensing may already be installed in most buildings.

Why it interests me

For elderly care and calamity response, a camera is intrusive and a wearable is easy to forget. Ambient RF sits in the gap: no device on the body, no image captured. The open question I want to chase is how far CSI can go toward coarse vitals and fall detection before privacy, calibration, and multipath drift make it impractical.
